Week of May 20, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes increased to 434 during the week of May 27, from 316 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes increased to $147,450, a change of 6.2%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions increased to 81 last week, from 76 the week of May 20
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions increased to 110 from 81 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory decreased by 64, and now sits at 8,627

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas remained constant at 117 during the week of May 27
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to $76,000, a change of -11.6%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions increased to 38 last week, from 33 the week of May 20
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions decreased to 19 from 25 the week prior
  • Condo inventory decreased by 4, and now sits at 2,096
