"The Great Duck Derby" features a series of rubber duck races and FREE family activities! Park gates open at 9:15 a.m. Admission and activities are FREE thanks to our sponsors. The Sponsors' Big Beautiful Ducks race in the 11:15 race. Anyone can buy a $5 Baby Rubber Duck to race in either the 12:15 pm or 1:00 pm race.

Ducks will be available at the Winter Park Farmers' Market on Saturday weeks prior to the event, or the day of the Derby at Mead Garden. Proceeds benefit the Mead Botanical Garden Nature Education Program.

This is a great opportunity to discover or rediscover Winter Park's hidden treasure and to see the exciting plans for the Garden’s revitalization, Nature Center and programs.
