Week of August 26, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes increased to 499 during the week of Aug 26, from 308 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes remained constant at $143,000 0.0%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions increased to 98 last week, from 70 the week of Aug 19
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions increased to 140 from 86 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory decreased by 167, and now sits at 8,411

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas increased to 151 during the week of Aug 26, from 111 the week prior
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to $79,000, a change of -7.1%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions increased to 37 last week, from 30 the week of Aug 19
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions increased to 42 from 28 the week prior
  • Condo inventory increased by 19, and now sits at 2,161
