Week of December 02, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes decreased to 293 during the week of Dec 2, from 465 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes increased to $148,500, a change of 3.1%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions decreased to 48 last week, from 80 the week of Nov 25
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions decreased to 73 from 126 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory decreased by 133, and now sits at 8,105

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to 96 during the week of Dec 2, from 142 the week prior
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas increased to $77,700, a change of 0.3%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions decreased to 22 last week, from 35 the week of Nov 25
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions decreased to 23 from 37 the week prior
  • Condo inventory decreased by 14, and now sits at 2,131
