Week of September 16, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes increased to 319 during the week of Sept 16, from 286 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes decreased to $135,000, a change of -6.9%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions increased to 61 last week, from 45 the week of Sept 9
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions increased to 97 from 75 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory increased by 20, and now sits at 8,508

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas increased to 123 during the week of Sept 16, from 85 the week prior
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to $69,350, a change of -18.4%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions increased to 50 last week, from 17 the week of Sept 9
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions decreased to 25 from 27 the week prior
  • Condo inventory decreased by 21, and now sits at 2,183
