Week of November 18, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes decreased to 208 during the week of Nov 18, from 324 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes decreased to $137,500, a change of -10.8%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions decreased to 44 last week, from 54 the week of Nov 11
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions decreased to 52 from 98 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory decreased by 104, and now sits at 8,285

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to 66 during the week of Nov 18, from 108 the week prior
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to $73,300, a change of -0.9%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions decreased to 11 last week, from 19 the week of Nov 11
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions decreased to 23 from 32 the week prior
  • Condo inventory decreased by 1, and now sits at 2,184
