Week of July 1, 2012

Single-family existing homes

  • Sales of single-family homes decreased to 218 during the week of Jul 1, from 495 the week prior
  • The median price of single family homes decreased to $144,675, a change of -2.8%
  • The number of single-family home foreclosure transactions decreased to 36 last week, from 93 the week of Jun 24
  • The number of single-family home short-sale transactions decreased to 64 from 155 the week prior
  • Single-family inventory increased by 30, and now sits at 8,615

Condos, townhomes, and villas

  • Sales of condos, townhomes, and villas decreased to 67 during the week of Jul 1, from 124 the week prior
  • The median price of condos, townhomes, and villas increased to $87,000, a change of 4.0%
  • The number of condo, townhome, and villa foreclosure transactions decreased to 14 last week, from 24 the week of Jun 24
  • The number of condo, townhome and villa short-sale transactions decreased to 18 from 34 the week prior
  • Condo inventory decreased by 15, and now sits at 2,088
